The full recording of the DEUCE Final Conference, held on 19–20 February 2026, is now available online.
The conference marked the culmination of the DEUCE project and brought together a wide range of stakeholders, including academics, legal practitioners, judges, representatives of EU institutions, and consumer organisations. Over the course of two days, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the digitalisation of cross-border enforcement in the European Union, with a particular focus on consumer protection within the Digital Single Market.
The recording is available on YouTube and can also be accessed through the new DEUCE project website: https://ideal.unina.it/deuce/news-events/. This offers an opportunity for those who were unable to attend, as well as those who wish to revisit specific sessions, to explore the key themes, presentations, and discussions that shaped the final stage of the project.
The video provides valuable insights into both the opportunities and the regulatory, procedural, and ethical challenges associated with the digital transformation of enforcement mechanisms across EU Member States. It also presents the main results and achievements of the project, including the comparative analysis of enforcement practices, the development of an EU-wide Roadmap on the enforcement of European Enforcement Order (EEO) and European Order for Payment (EOP) judgments, and the creation of a digital platform designed to simplify the relevant procedures and make them more accessible and user-friendly.
As such, the recording represents a valuable resource for anyone interested in access to justice, the digitalisation of legal procedures, and the future of cross-border enforcement in the European Union.
