About the initiative
The AI for Access to Justice initiative convenes researchers, legal technologists, practitioners, and policymakers working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, justice systems, and legal empowerment.
Across its editions, the workshop has developed into a forum for examining how large language models, machine learning systems, rule-based tools, and structured legal data can improve procedural guidance, legal assistance, dispute resolution, and broader access to justice.
The series also addresses governance questions, including transparency, fairness, explainability, accountability, and compliance in high-stakes legal contexts.
