Valentina Dalla Giovanna

Valentina Dalla Giovanna is a PhD researcher at the DIKE (DIgitalization and aCCEss to Justice) Research Group at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, under the supervision of Professor Marco Giacalone. Her doctoral research focuses on digital law, access to law and digital mediation.

Alongside her PhD, she contributes to EU-funded projects including SPLIT and TRUST-AI, working on legal training, artificial intelligence, data law, intellectual property and digital justice.

Valentina is also a legal researcher at FARI - AI for the Common Good (VUB-ULB) and has been practising as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar since 2019. Fluent in Italian, French, English and German, with a good passive knowledge of Dutch, she brings a multilingual and international perspective to her academic and professional work.
