Simeng Chen

Simeng Chen received a BSc in Economics from the Capital University of Economics and Business in 2021. Then gained a Master’s Degree in Law at the Law School of Jiangsu Normal University in 2024. She passed the Chinese judicial examination and the CFA Level 1 exam. At the same time, through continuous practice and study, she has a solid knowledge of law, technology, and finance. She has won several scholarships, including the VUB-CSC scholarship, the national scholarship in China, and the Maotong scholarship.

Currently, she is a PhD student in the DIKE Research Group at VUB. Her main research direction is artificial intelligence law. Chinese native speaker, Simeng  is fluent in English.
