On 24–25 September 2026, the Final Conference of the CREA3 Project – “Conflict Resolution with Equitative Algorithms” took place in Naples, bringing together researchers, legal professionals, practitioners, and stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with artificial intelligence in justice systems and dispute resolution.
Over the two days, the conference provided an opportunity for interdisciplinary dialogue on key issues surrounding AI-enabled justice and AI-assisted dispute resolution. Discussions addressed a wide range of topics, including trust, identity, governance, vulnerability, procedural fairness, human dignity, contestability, and human-centred approaches to digital justice.
The event offered a valuable forum for exchanging perspectives and exploring how emerging technologies can support dispute resolution processes while safeguarding fundamental rights and responding to the diverse needs of individuals seeking justice.
The CREA3 Consortium would like to express its sincere gratitude to all speakers, moderators, and participants for their contributions and insightful discussions. Special thanks are also extended to the CREA3 project partners, the organisations and institutions that promoted and supported the event, and the Scientific and Organising Committees, whose efforts contributed to the successful organisation of the conference.
The Final Conference represented an important milestone in the CREA3 project, providing an opportunity to reflect on its achievements, share research findings, and foster further discussion on the responsible integration of AI into justice and dispute resolution processes.
Although the conference marked the concluding phase of the project, the discussions highlighted the continuing importance of developing fair, transparent, accessible, and human-centred technological solutions that respect fundamental rights and respond to the needs of those seeking justice.
