Esra Palit

Esra Palit is a Ph.D. candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She obtained her bachelor’s in Law from VUB and completed an LL.M. in International Technology Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2024. 

Her research interests are at the intersection of law and artificial intelligence, with a focus on improving access to justice in Europe. Before studying law, Esra obtained a bachelor's degree in Public Safety from Vives Kortrijk. 

During her Erasmus at Liverpool Hope University, she further immersed herself in politics, international relations and forensic psychology. This multidisciplinary background enriches her legal research, where she strives to formulate policy recommendations that contribute to innovative and effective justice.
